in cooperation with the Künstlerbund Baden-Württemberg
Under the title „Harte Zeiten / Ciężkie Czasy“ (Hard Times / Ciężkie Czasy), an exhibition project is being realised in the form of a cooperation between supPORTer e.V. Mannheim, Künstlerbund Baden-Württemberg, Port25 – Raum für Gegenwartskunst in Mannheim and Galeria Miejska bwa in Bydgoszcz / Poland (Municipal Gallery of Bydgoszcz). For the exhibition, artistic positions that deal with the increasingly harsh climate in politics and society, were selected. Two different exhibitions, with a total of 10 Polish and 10 German artists, will take place both in Mannheim and in Bydgoszcz and then in exchange in the two cities.
The concept idea is based on mutual interest in artistic-cultural work and the idea of consolidating future-oriented, network-building cooperation. The concept will be further developed and implemented conjointly with the curators of the partner institutions in both cities. The series of events accompanying the exhibitions offers platforms for discursive exchange and is open to cooperation with other institutions and companies in Mannheim as well as in Bydgoszcz.

in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Künstlerbund Baden-Württemberg
Unter dem Titel „Harte Zeiten / Ciężkie Czasy“ wird ein Ausstellungsvorhaben in Form einer Kooperation von supPORTer e.V. Mannheim, dem Künstlerbund Baden-Württemberg, Port25 – Raum für Gegenwartskunst in Mannheim sowie der Galeria Miejska bwa in Bydgoszcz / Polen (Städtische Galerie von Bydgoszcz) realisiert. Für die Ausstellung wurden künstlerische Positionen ausgewählt, die sich mit dem rauer werdenden Klima in Politik und Gesellschaft befassen. Zwei unterschiedliche Ausstellungen, mit insgesamt 10 polnischen und 10 deutschen Künstlern und Künstlerinnen, finden beide sowohl in Mannheim als auch in Bydgoszcz und dann im Tausch in den beiden Städten statt.
Die Konzeptidee basiert auf dem gegenseitigen Interesse an der künstlerisch-kulturellen Arbeit und dem Wunsch nach Verfestigung zukunftsweisender, Netzwerk bildender Zusammenarbeit. Das Konzept wird gemeinsam mit den Kuratorinnen und Kuratoren der Partnerinstitutionen beider Städte weiterentwickelt und umgesetzt. Das die Ausstellungen flankierende Veranstaltungsprogramm bietet Plattformen für diskursiven Austausch und ist offen für die Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Institutionen und Unternehmen in Mannheim ebenso wie in Bydgoszcz.
